Great Book for a Dallas Cowboy Fan August 5, 2010

If you're a long time Dallas cowboy fan and remember when Walt Garrison played, you will love this book. It will keep you laughing. We had this book years ago and loaned it out. Needless to say, it never found its way back to us. That being the case and the fact that my husband wanted to read it again, I researched Amazon for it and found it for 1 cent plus shipping of $3.99. The book was in excellent condition. For Dallas cowboy fans, it's a must read.

This book was damn near perfect and one of the easiest reads ever. There is no filler in this book as it is loaded with characters and funny stories. Tough to read in a public place as I just kept laughing.

I purchased this for my mother who is a big Cowboy's fan. I decided to glance at it while in the airport on my way to visit her. I couldn't put it down. I laughed out loud on the plane and ended up having to recite passages to the passengers around me (long flight). I wrapped the book - gave it to my mother and now we have to keep track of which family member has the book! It will be a permanent fixture in the case for us to share. Great job - ya gotta love Walt G.

FORMER DALLAS COWBOY RUNNING BACK WRITES THIS BOOK WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR AND SOME GOOD OLD BOY STORIES. WALT GARRISON IS A TRUE COWBOY (HE EVEN DID SOME STEER ROPING)IN THE RODEO. I ALWAYS REMEMBERED HIM DOING THE SKOAL COMMERCIALS WITH EARL CAMPBELL. WALT REALLY DOESN'T GO INTO ALOT OF SEASON BY SEASON RESULTS BUT DOES IT WITH A COLLECTION OF MANY FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING TALES ABOUT HIS FORMER FRIENDS AND TEAMATES. AMONG THE BEST ARE CONCERNING DANDY DON MEREDITH AND BOB LILLY. WALT WAS A FINE PLAYER AND I THINK HE DOES A GOOD JOB ON THIS BOOK. LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE REVIEWED THIS BOOK, I RECOMMEND THIS FOR ALL FOOTBALL FANS WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE COWBOYS OF THE LATE 1960'S AND 1970'S. A VERY EASY AND LIGHT BOOK TO READ.
