Product Description The Ultimate Resource Guide for True Cowboys Fans Every good Dallas Cowboys fan can tell you about the highlights from the franchise's half century of existence--including five Super Bowl victories and 10 players inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame--but how many know all the stories behind the names, games, and traditions of one of the NFL's most popular teams? 100 Things Cowboys Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die was created for everyone who cheers for pro football in Dallas. Both entertaining and enlightening, this must-have guide ranks and explains the essential information and can't-miss experiences every Cowboys fan needs. This book has it all: the star players--from Roger Staubach to Troy Aikman to Tony Romo; the larger-than-life coaches (Landry, Johnson, Switzer, and more); the biggest games, from the Ice Bowl to the eight Super Bowl appearances; even the landmarks, including the Cotton Bowl and the team's amazing new stadium.

Great book, especially for the fan August 14, 2010 Thomas M. Brooks Beats me what some of the other reviewers are complaining about. It's a selection of 100 interesting things about the Cowboys, not a chronological history or whatever else they expected. Housewright's writing style is warm and informative - what you'd expect to hear from a friend who is also a big fan of the 'Boys. You feel like he's talking with you at a party, rather than reading "The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire" or listening to a lecture on a crowded campus.
Maybe it won't help you win Trivial Pursuit's sports questions, but if you are looking for an enjoyable read, this is worth considering.
loved it! July 5, 2010 Rosa Campbell Dad is a die hard Cowboys fan, so this was a natural fit for him. Came in quickly and in exactly the condition promised.
Great book May 2, 2009 J. Smith (Pennsylvania) As a lifelong Cowboys fan, I really enjoyed this book. It gives alot of information about the team, history, and present(end of 2007 season).
If you're a fan.... February 18, 2009 Ray T (Oregon, USA) I am not a Dallas fan but bought this book for someone who is. They love it and have it on their coffee table. I looked over the book before I gave it away and it has 100 factoids about the Cowboys in it. If you really follow and love football and/or the Cowboys, some of the factoids may be a bit basic, but all-in-all some light reading for the off season.

Very basic book with little or no insight. Maybe good for kid or a spouse of a Cowboy fan. Very first page I opened to referenced "Calvin HAll". Jerry Jones must have been the editor. Craig
